French Green Clay - Literally "drinks" oils, toxins and impurities. Its toning action stimulates the skin and brings fresh blood to damaged skin cells. Tightens pores and revitalizes the complexion. Contains a cornucopia of trace minerals like magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc, selenium, cobalt, manganese as well as micro-algae, kelp and phytonutrients. Our French Green clay is quarry mined from naturally occurring deposits in France and is untreated, with a beautiful light green color and soft texture. French Green Clay is sometimes called Sea Clay and is by far one of the most majestic, most effective, and most commonly used mineral skin clays found in the world. Green clay owes its coloration to two very important factors: iron oxide and decomposed plant matter. That’s right, the natural green tones found in this luxurious clay are from the very cycles of life that the earth uses to regenerate herself. Unlike other clays where key elements work in symbiosis off of each other, French Green clay contains several elements which act as their own “body,” meaning that each element is responsible for working the outer epidermis in its own way and in dispensing their biological constituents as best as possible.
Spiriluna - a blue-green algae whose chemical makeup is 65 percent amino acids and is high in essential fatty acid Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) , vitamins, and nutrients, including beta carotene, chlorophyll and calcium. It contains significant amounts of the powerhouse antioxidant superoxide disputes (SOD) that attacks free radicals, thereby limiting their damaging effects on your skin. Spirulina contains tyrosine, vitamin E or tocopherol, and selenium, all of which are known for their anti-ageing effects. Tyrosine slows down the ageing of skin cells. The antioxidants present in it eliminate free radicals which are responsible for skin ageing.
Sea Kelp - Natural detox. Sea kelp is loaded with skin-nourishing nutrients, such as Omega-3 essential fatty acids and polyphenols. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, vegetarian sources of the essential fatty acid, docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA, come from seaweed. Ground from dried Atlantic kelp, this nutrient-dense powder is also rich in marine minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron.
